- Find your new balance (how much money is left. This is how much you have to go into your savings or checking account.

Post Fred Meyer "shopping" trip
- What do you remember about the trip?
- How difficult was it to find items?
- Were you surprised by any prices of items?
Time to add-up prices:
- Get a calculator
- Add the prices you found for your items
- Write the total on your shopping Meal Planning sheet
- Use a highlighter to mark any items you do not have a price for
- How does your total compare to your grocery budget?
- Do you need to make any changes to your shopping list so that you will stay within your grocery budget? (What items will you cross off? What meals will you change?)
- Finish by finding prices for your highlighted items.
